This is one of those tops where every panel is doing something different, yet it all comes together brilliantly. As with all my Scrap Couture pieces, it's completely one of a kind, made from carefully selected fabrics that wouldn't usually find themselves in the same place.
 
The front is covered in colourful patchwork-style strawberries, bringing plenty of bright colour and detail straight away. The orange neckband frames the print nicely and gives the whole top an extra pop of colour.
 
Turn it around and the back switches to cheerful axolotls swimming across a rainbow background. It's a completely different look from the front, but that's what makes these one-off pieces so much fun. The sleeves each add their own twist too. One features rainbows on a black background with a bright pink cuff, while the other combines rainbow giraffes on purple with a light blue cuff. A green body cuff finishes everything off and pulls another splash of colour into the mix.
 
Handmade in my St Ives workshop from 95% cotton and 5% lycra cotton jersey, it's soft, stretchy and comfortable enough for everyday wear. Wash at 30 degrees, line dry and use a gentle iron if needed.
 
There's no picking a favourite fabric with this one, you get a bit of everything.
