My Story
Hello! I'm Sarah and I am the ower of Charlie Rose Clothing.

I make all the items by myself in my workshop in St Ives, Cornwall. I have two children and a tuxedo cat called Lottie. I enjoy exploring the local area, wild swimming, painting and running. Oh, and sewing!

Charlie Rose Clothing comes from the two middle names of my children, who are my inspiration for working hard and following your dreams. It sounds like a cliche and it is; I work hard for them.

I started sewing and crafting as a hobby before I had children but it was during my maternity leave when I had the time to really focus on being creative. I am a highly sensitive person, so soft and comfortable clothing was always really important to me, and then that really became a focus when I started buying clothing for my children. I started making my son some soft jersey trousers who has sensory preferences, and it grew from there!

I love choosing bright and colourful fabrics and use patterns that allow movement and play. I believe clothes should never restrict a child or interrupt their activities so I only use cotton jersey fabrics which stretch.

I appreciate that not all humans fit into set size guides, so I am happy to make custom sizes, contact me and I will try to help.

Thank-you for viewing my online shop and please let me know if you need any help!
