This is one of those tops where every fabric brings something different to the party. It's a Scrap Couture one-off, which means there's only one exactly like it, made using carefully chosen leftover fabrics that work surprisingly well together.
 
The front combines colourful dinosaurs and florals on a deep blue background. There's plenty going on, but the darker base keeps it feeling balanced rather than busy. The black neckband frames the print nicely and ties in with some of the darker tones throughout the top.
 
Turn it around and the back switches to bright florals on a black background, bringing in a completely different feel while still working beautifully with the front. The sleeves each tell their own story too. One features a tiger face print on black, finished with a sunny yellow cuff, while the other mixes colourful patchwork-style strawberries with a green cuff. A purple waistband finishes everything off and adds another unexpected splash of colour.
 
Handmade in my St Ives workshop from 95% cotton and 5% lycra cotton jersey, it's soft, comfortable and made for everyday wear. Wash at 30 degrees, line dry and use a gentle iron if needed.
 
There's a lot packed into this one, but that's exactly what makes it stand out on the rail.
